At ANASTHASIA, we value your trust as much as your custom. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our store or place an order, why we collect it, and the rights you have. We keep it as clear as the pieces we make.

What we collect

When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if provided, and your order details. Payments are processed by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card details.

When you subscribe to our emails, we collect your email address.

When you contact us, we keep your message and contact details so we can help you.

When you browse our store, we automatically receive limited technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, through cookies and similar technologies.

Why we use it

We use your data to fulfil and deliver your order, process payments and returns, provide customer care, send you our emails if you have subscribed, improve our store, and meet our legal obligations such as tax and bookkeeping requirements.

We rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR: performance of a contract (your order), your consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (improving and securing our store), and legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We only share your data with partners who help us run ANASTHASIA, and only what they need:

Shopify, the platform that powers our store and processes orders
Shopify Payments, our payment service provider, which processes your payment securely; and Klarna when you choose to pay in instalments, which may process your data under its own privacy policy to assess your payment request
Shipping carriers, such as PostNL and DHL, to deliver your order
Klaviyo, our email platform, if you have subscribed to our emails
Analytics and advertising services that help us understand how our store is used

We never sell your personal data. Where partners process data outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the store to function, such as keeping your shopping bag, and, with your consent, cookies for analytics and marketing. You can adjust your preferences at any time via the cookie settings in our store or your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep order data for as long as required by Dutch tax law, which is seven years for administrative records. Email subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Customer service messages are kept for up to two years. Data we no longer need is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Every marketing email also contains an unsubscribe link.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@anasthasia.eu and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Security

Our store runs over a secure SSL connection and we work only with partners that meet high security standards. Access to personal data within ANASTHASIA is limited to those who need it to serve you.

Children

Our store is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we work with new partners. The latest version is always available on this page, with the date above.
