Terms of service

These terms apply to every order placed with ANASTHASIA. We have kept them as clear and fair as possible; they follow Dutch and European consumer law, which protects you as our customer.

Our products

ANASTHASIA pieces are handcrafted in small quantities. Slight variations in shade and texture, particularly in natural materials such as wool, cashmere and fur, are characteristic of a handcrafted product and are not defects.

We take great care that photography and descriptions represent each piece accurately. Colours may render slightly differently depending on your screen.

Prices & payment

All prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping is complimentary on every order, and for deliveries outside the European Union we take care of any import duties and taxes. The price you see at checkout is the full and final amount.

Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments. Where offered, you can pay in instalments through Klarna; Klarna's own terms apply to that payment arrangement. Your order is dispatched after payment has been authorised.

Obvious errors in pricing bind us only insofar as you could reasonably believe the price to be correct.

Ordering & contract

A contract is concluded when you complete checkout and receive our order confirmation by email. We may decline or cancel an order in limited cases, for example suspected fraud or an item no longer being available; in that case you are informed promptly and any payment is refunded in full.

Delivery

Every order ships tracked from our warehouse in the Netherlands. Estimated delivery is 4 to 7 calendar days within the Netherlands and up to 12 calendar days elsewhere, depending on destination, as set out on our Shipping page. Delivery times are estimates; if delivery is delayed beyond 30 days, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund.

The risk of loss or damage passes to you once the order has been delivered to you.

Right of withdrawal

As a consumer in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason. To do so, inform us within that period by email at info@anasthasia.eu; a clear statement that you wish to withdraw is sufficient. You then have a further 14 days to return the piece. We provide a prepaid return label, so returning is free of charge.

We refund the full amount paid, using the same payment method you used, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, and no later than the day we receive the returned piece or proof that you have sent it.

During the withdrawal period you may inspect the piece as you would in a store: trying it on is fine, wearing it is not. You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is needed to assess its nature, characteristics and fit. Please see our Returns page for practical guidance.

Returns & exchanges

Beyond your legal rights, our own returns policy applies: complimentary returns and exchanges within 14 days of delivery, with pieces unworn, in original condition, with all tags attached and the fur cuffs included. Full details are on our Returns page.

Legal guarantee

Under European law, every piece must conform to the contract: it must be as described and of sound quality. If a piece proves defective within the legal guarantee period, we will repair or replace it, or refund you, free of charge. This legal guarantee is not limited by anything in these terms.

The guarantee does not cover normal wear, or damage caused by incorrect care; care instructions are included with each piece and on the product page.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with a piece or with our service, contact us at info@anasthasia.eu. We respond within one business day and aim to resolve every complaint within 14 days. This does not affect your right to take a dispute to the competent court.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under law, including liability for intent or gross negligence. For the rest, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned.

Intellectual property

All content in our store, including designs, photography, text and the ANASTHASIA name and monogram, is our property or used under licence and may not be reproduced without our written permission.

Applicable law

These terms and every contract with us are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer, you also enjoy the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live. Disputes are submitted to the competent Dutch court, unless mandatory law designates another court.
